Emergency and Disaster Management Program
Emergency and Disaster Management Program was opened in 2018 at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Kavaklıdere Şehit Mustafa Alper Vocational School. The duration of education is two years (four semesters). Pieces of training are given in Turkish and formal. They are all efforts to reduce and manage the effects of a possible disaster or emergency. Working places:
Upon successful completion of this program, students are awarded with the title of Emergency and Disaster Management Technician. What are the lessons learned in the Emergency and Disaster Management Program?
In the program, students are taught basic anatomy physiology, disaster and emergency legislation. In addition, they take emergency and disaster planning, disaster and emergency operations. In addition to chemical-biological-radiological-nuclear arming, they take chemical-biological-radiological-nuclear hazards in disasters. In addition to the theoretical courses, the students are required to do 30 (thirty) working days in summer internship in the first semester.
